So I think I'm with Olivia on this one. I don't this this trip is going to be that bad! I mean it's the Forbidden Forrest -- anything can happen! Are we the only ones who are actually excited about this?! I can't wait to see what happens!

FINALLY! My mother actually got around to owling me my journal back! Ugh, I feel so out of the loop without it! Did I miss any major entries? Anything blow up while I was gone? I only really know what's been going on in my house as of late.
By the way, Colin, how are you doing? I know having a broken nose is awful. At least you don't have a hoove mark on your face!

Soo, exciting game. Shitty outcome, but exciting nonetheless. I mean I was still able to enjoy myself even though we lost. I know, I know, usually I'm the first one in line for getting even with the other team, but thing is I think I already have.
I don't know about ALL the South African players, but if Mamello Malan Merlin, I can't even remember what team he was on represents that country as a whole, I'm GLAD I socked him in the head! I may have had a lot a tad bit to drink earlier that day but let me tell you, this bloke had it coming either way! Talk about an arrogant and pompous, British-bashing arsehole. I'm glad he wobbled so much on his broom he could barely fly straight. That's what happens when you mess with a blonde Gryffindor Frobisher's team!
So yeah. THAT WAS FOR ENGLAND! Even though it was really only because I was pretty smashed. I have no bloody clue how I didn't get kicked out of the country though. Maybe because I knocked him so senseless.

So wow -- World Cup in South Africa! Yeah, I know, I'm a little behind on the hype but for some reason the news got to me a little slower than everyone else. I've been keeping busy, okay? Not sure yet if I'm going to go. Thanks to my brothers pulling every trick in the book for mooching money out of my parents (thought hardly any of them ever worked), I have no real ideas on how the Hell to get myself there.
Course, I did hear about the haiku contest. But, hah, yeah fat chance I'd win that kind of a competition. Why can't they do something more Quidditch related like a RACE or who knows the most facts or something! Honest, a bloody poem?! That has nothing to do with the Quidditch spirit. Hmm. Maybe I'll pay my brother to write one for me. He's the more...creative one of the family.

Wow, what an EVENTFUL party! And I thought my FAMILY drank a lot! Good Lord. Well, it was definitely a good time all around, I think. I just hope you can all REMEMBER it! If not, just know you probably had the best time of all.

UGH!
That's all I have to say after a week in Hell. After all that last minute cramming it feels like my brain's turned to mush. But all that matters is I think I passed. I think...just thank MERLIN it's over. UGH!
Nothing to look forward to now but sunshine, sleeping in, and lots of outdoor activities! Oh, and NO MORE UMBRIDGE! WOO!

I can't believe it's already almost two weeks until exams! I've studied all of...five minutes maybe? I can't help it, I always end up falling asleep when I study lately. Well, it happens pretty frequently actually but moreso lately it seems like. I always end up procrastinating horribly around this time of year.
Ugh, I'm probably going to fail. I'm just glad I don't have Ministry testing to worry about.
But I'm PSYCHED for the game this Saturday! Good luck, Ravenclaw, cause you're going to need it.

Well, Merlin's Beard, you'd think no one's ever seen a bruised and still slightly bloody nose before! Come now, I know for a FACT I'm not the only one who grew up with rough-housing older brothers! I mean, okay, I know it looks really kind of horrid bad but you don't have to all gawk and gasp everytime I enter a bloody room! I mean, I LOVE telling people the story don't mind if you ask questions or anything but is the screaming really necessary? It's called manners, for Merlin's sake!
Colin, I think still may have gotten some good shots in before we found that Thestral! I'm so glad we did too, before something terrible happened to it! But I'm mostly glad nothing happened to the cameras! That would've been awful! Oh, and it's good we're still alive and everything too.
It's really not as bad having a hoof print in your face as you might think. I think I make it look quite fetching actually. Just wait, you'll be reading about it in next month's Witch Weekly!

I'm SO relieved I won't have to worry about O.W.L.s until next year. It's so depressing to see everyone starting to study already. It's only the end of March, people! I thought testing was until June! The weather is starting to get so nice outside, put away the books and get some fresh air! I know the Quidditch players are, but you should do it to relax as well.
In other news...Ancient Runes is trying to kill me. A terrible, violent death via textbook, paper, and quill. Someone remind me WHY I took this class again? I know I just gave everyone a lecture about not studying but I could actually use a few tips so I don't, you know, fail or anything. I guess not failing is important too...
